(to the editor of the patea hail.) Sik, —The Cemetery, to all appearances, looks like a place really in possession of the dead. In Patea it appears the duty devolves on the Town Board. In Wanganui and other places these concerns are managed by committees, and I think it is time some action was taken in the matter here. I am under the impression that the Cemetery Keserve brings in £4O or £SO per annum which should bo sufficient to plant the place with trees. —I am, &c. ATTENTION.

Holloway's Ointm-cnt uml Pills. — Dangerous Olir-sl Complaints.—The enumeration' of these diseases is scarcely necessary, as, unfortunately, most Englishmen know them to (heir cost. Coughs, common colds, influenza, bronchitis asthma-, pleurisy, inflammation'-of the lungs, and even consumption in its early stages, are successfully treated by rubbing Holloway’s Ointment upon the chest and upon the back between the shoulders. It penetrates internally, checks the cold shivering*, relieves the over-gorged lungs, gradually removes oppression from the chest, and restore s the obstructed respiration hitherto both distressingly disagreeable and highly dangerous. ■ hi treating this class of d’seaacs, Holloway’s kills should always bs taken while using his Ointment ; they purify the blood, piomoto. perspiration, and. allay dangerous irritations.
