IvAKAHAMEA FLOUR MILL.

The following nro present prices at the above Mill -.—Flour, £lB per ton, 20s per 100 lbs ; pollard, 7s per 100 lbs ; bran, Ds per 100 lbs’; gristing, in lots of not less than 20 bushels, Is per bushel. EDWIN PAYNE. June IG, 1877. GRAIN AND PRODUCE. [From the “ Canterbury Times,” June Sth.] The market has been quiet during the past week, and the few transactions which have taken place show comparatively little change in prices. The shipments coastwise and to Australia continue at a moderate rate. Recent Victorian advices report a slighter weaker feeling in wheat, but oats remain firm. Wheat.—We have not heard during the week of any transactions of magnitude. Prime quality is still worth 6s to 6s Gd. Slightly grown is perhaps a shade easier, and such samples command up to 4s. Judging from the appearance of the bread supplied by many of the bakers, a considerable quantity of grown wheat has found its way into con* sumption. Oats are in very good demand, and there are strong buyers at 2s 7d for ordinary feeding quality, but more would be given for superior lines. Potatoes —Farmers are still disinclined to sell at previous rates, and ask for advanced values. Potatoes are worth 465. - (Trass Seed—The little lots of rye-grass offering are very dirty, ttw-t —ui readily find purchasers at 4* 3d to 4s Gd. Dairy Produce —The market for butter and cheese continues dull. Butter, 9d ; cheese, 5Jd. SHEEP AND CATTLE. Sheep —3,B4o were yarded. Best crossbreds made up to 14s Gd, receding to 9s Gd and 10s. Merino wethers of moderate quality brought Bs. A lot of good cross-bred store lambs reahed Bs. Sheep- are now wanted for putting on turnips, which tends to keep up the value of good forward stores, while boiling operations do the same good office for fat sheep. Our quotation for mutton for the week is from 2d to 2,J-d per lb. In the cattle market, prices are slightly in favour of the buyer, as compared with a month ago, but still store cattle continue to command extreme rates. At the yards, on Wednesday, 263 head were offered, comprising a sprinkling of fat cattle, and the remainder stores. All of tho latter were sold at good prices. Beef brought an average of 27s Gd per 100 lbs.
