E. Gibson’s store. TARANAKI HERALD. MR J. HIRST having resigned the Agency of the Taranaki Herald , Mr J. WHELAN has now been appointed Agent, and is authorised to collect accounts for the same, in the Patea District. Subscribers will please call at Mr Whelan’s shop for their papers for the future. POST OFFICE NOTICES. Mails arrive as follows : From New Plymouth, at 10 a.m. on Tuesdays and Saturdays. From Hawera, Manutahi, and Kakaramea, at 10 a.m. on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. From Wanganui, Kai Iwi, Maxwelltown, Waitotara, and Waverley, at 2 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, Mails close at the Post Office, Carlyle as under : For New Plymouth, at 1.45 p.m. on Mondays and Fridays. For Hawera, Manutahi, and Kakaramea at 1.45 p.m, on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. For Waverley, Waitotara, Maxwelltown, Kai Iwi, and Wanganui, at 9.30 a.m. on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
