All disputes to be settled by the Stewards, whose decision shall be final. 3. Persons lodging a protest will place £1 in the hands of the Secretary on making the same, which money will be forfeited if such protest be deemed by the Stewards frivolous or unjust. 4. All persons intending to withdraw horses, arc requested to give notice to that effect to the Secretary, at least fifteen minutes before the hour of starting. 5. Any jockey riding except in the colors entered, will bo fined £l. 6. Any person entering a horse in any race, except in a hack race, must he a subscriber of not less than £1 Is to the meeting, 7. Nominations and acceptances will not be received after the time stated under any pretence whatever. 8.
