FASHION FRIPPERIES.

The Normandy is the leading spring bonnet * The “ Corisande ” is a beautiful new overskirt

Square box-toed shoes are the most fashionable.

The Princesse is the"favorite dress for little girls. Gray and tan in pale shades are the glove colors of the moment. The new shades of green are sea foam, crystal, cascade, and bronze. Dolmans and scarf mantles are worn, but so are half long French sacques. The new bonnets are small, but are made to look large with the trimmings.

The new black lace mitts are embroidered inside as well as outside the hand.

Very little face trimming is seen on spring bonnets but the variety is endless. Black veils dotted with tillenl chenille and tilleul-colored straws are coming in v.ogue.

Tuscan, Milan, and Leghorn straws of deep yellow tints are the favorites for spring bonnets. Louis XY. slippers with immensely high heels placed further forward than ever, are now seen.

The caprice of the moment with young ladies is wearing long black kid gloves with light evening dresses. It is impossible to make a really fashionable coiffure at present without more or less additional hair unless a lady has a very abundant chevclure.— N.Z. Times.
