All disputes to be settled by the Stewards, avlioso decision shall he final. 3. Persons lodging a protest Avill place £1 in the hands of the Secretary on making the same, which money Avill be forfeited if such protest be deemed by the Stewards frivolous or unjust. 4. All persons intending to withdraw horses, are requested to give notice to that effect to the Secretary, at least fifteen minutes before the hour of starting. 5. Any jockey riding except in the colors entered, Avill be fined £l. G. Nominations and acceptances will not bo received after the. time stated under any pretence Avhatevor. 7. Five per cent. Avill be deducted firm the gross proceeds of all moneys paid in accordance with the programme, for expenses. Nominations for the HaAvcra Handicap, addressed to the Secretary, must bo made on or before 8 p.m. on the 7th May, 1877. Weights to be declared on 21st May, 1877.
