All disputes to be settled by the Stewards, whoso decision shall be final. 3. Persons lodging a protest will place £ 1 in the hands of the Secretary on making the same, which money will be b.irfeiled if such protest be deemed by the Stewards frivolous or unjust. 4. All persons intending to withdraw horses, are requested to give notice to that effect to the Secretary, at least fifteen minutes before the hour of starting. 5. Any jockey riding- except in the colors entered, will be fined £l. G. Nominations and acceptances will not be received after the time stated under any pretence whatever - . 7. Five per cent, will be deducted frem the gross proceeds of all moneys paid in accordance with the programme, for expenses. Nominations for the Hawcra Handicap, addressed to the Secretary, must be made on or before 8 p.m. on the 7th Alay, 1877. Weights to be declared on 21st Alay, 1877.
