Mr Gouktxey held his usual fortnightly sale at Glenavon, on Thursday, the loth instant, when there was a fair attendance ot buyers, and slock sold mure freely than at late rates. Prices real Fed were: Store cows. £f 5s to C 5 ; IK-months-olds. from £3 17s (id lo £6; 3-year-old .steers, £5 17s (id each; calves, from £2 to £2 2s; young cows, near calving. AC !5s lo £7 2s 6(1; 1 pair of good working bullocks, £25. Two hundred ewes were offered, hut there wore no buyers. 1 saddle hack, £7.- ■ Taranaki Herald.’
