Persons lodging a protest will place £1 in the hands of the Secretary on making the same, which money will he forfeited if such, protest be deemed by the Stewards frivolous or unjust. 4. All persons intending to withdraw horses, arc requested to give notice to that effect to the Secretary, at least fifteen minutes before the hour of starling.
