(TO THE EDITOR OF THE PATEA MAID.) Sir—Not having seen any bye-laws of th e County Council, perhaps you can enlighten me and other ratepayers of this district whether the Council has done anything in (he matter respecting narrow and broad tires” to conveyances going to and fro on the main road. No doul.it the narrow wheels, with such heavy loads, arc the cause of the roads being cut up so. thence such very bad roads, Hoping the Council will take the matter in hand, with as.little delay as possible, before any one capsize and break their necks. —I am, Ac., A Traveller.
