TREADWELL will conduct the Opening Services of the New Presbyterian Church, at Hawera, on SUNDAY, the 14th instant, at the hburs of 3 1 a.m. and 6 30 p.m. Collections in aid of the Building Fnnd of the Church will be made at the close of each service. Tk a MKEt ix o also in aid of the funds will bo hold on the evening, of Wednesday, the 17th instant, in the Church. Tickets : Adults, 25.; Children, halfprice. Tea on the table at (1 p.m. After tea addresses will be delivered by the Rev Messrs. Treadwell, Martin, Law, and others. Tickets of admission to be had at the .stores of Messrs. Furlong and Davidson. Perry, of Hawera, I think it the public should not have benefit of its perusal, and consequently I subjoin a copy of it; The damage to the fence was entirely done by Mr Perry’s own stock breaking into my land, and the only action I took in the matter was to drive his cattle back for him, and request him to repair the mischief they had done.
