Patea Mail Office, Friday Evening. Mr. W. Dale reports having held a large sale of building timber, without reserve, on Wednesday last, at Hirst’s wharf. Red pine boards and scantling averaged 14s Gd per 100 feet; kauri fetched IGs ; T. and G. boards, 18s 9d.
