NOTICE. MEETING OF PATEA COUNTY COUNCIL. NOTICE is hereby given, that, by a warrant published on Friday, the 29th ult., his Excellency the Governor was pleased to appoint THURSDAY, January- 4th, 1877, at noon, in the Court House, as the time and place for the first meeting of the Patea County Council. Councillors from the districts of Otoia, Hawera, and Waverley, are hereby warned to attend on that day. By order, H. F. TURNER, Chief Returning Officer. Patea, 30th Dec,, 1876. TO THE RATEPAYERS OF HAWERA. I HEREBY give notice that the RATE ROLL of the Town of Hawera for 1876-77, is now posted up at the Block-house, Hawera, and will remain so posted for public inspection for the space of 21 days from date hereof. The Board will be in attendance at the Block-house, from 12 noon till 3 o’clock p.m,, on WEDNESDAY, the 24th January, to hear and determine any objections that may be made thereto J.
