Per Jane Elkin, from Pelortis—23,ooo feet timber, Milroy. Per Dante, from Manukau —10,050 feet timber, Order. Per Dawn, from Kaipara—lo,37o feet timber, Nicholson. EXPECTED ARRIVAL. Clyde, s.s., from Wanganui, daily. The schooner Elizabeth is still wind-bound, but expects to be away in a day or two now. The s.s. Clyde is expected from Wanganui daily, having a full load ready. The cutter dawn, from Auckland, has a nrevv composed wholly of Maoris, none of whom (the captain included) can speak a word of English. The stay-at-home natives of this part. Tairoa most of all, could hardly believe the fact, when their countrymen made themselves known to them. The four vessels now in port arc ready for sea, being ballasted and ready for : a start when a favourable slant offers.
