BALL ROAD.

(to the editor of the patea mail.) Sib,— Now that the Government have sold a largo portion of the Gtola-Opaku Block, it is absolutely necessary that the above road should be at once opened, from the junction of Hursthmlse and Ball roads to the open land, some fffty chains, for the simple reason that a grassed road_ will be unable to boar the traffic that will ensue from the opening up of the above block, and the new township of Woodville. It is therefore advisable for either the Government or the Road Board to take action in the matter at once.—l am, &c., A PURCHASER AT THE LATE SALE.
