I have had soda water here for the last four weeks, arid the young man always drew the pineapple syrup out of that faucet up' there.” “He did; why that’s brandy!” exclaimed the boy. The good man looked at him a long time, a shade of sadness gradually stealing over bis face, amd as be put down his neckrie and went out he said, “ That .other' young man is on the high road to degradation, and yet I wonder why they .can’t make pineapple syrup with something of that upper faucet flavor to it;”
