[Per Press Agency.] NEW PLYMOUTH. October 20. Mr. Courtnoj 7 held bis usual cattle sale, 50 head were yarded. Small fat cows, fetched £7 7s Gd ; heavy bullocks £lO Is ; two-year old steers, £-1 10s to £5 ; sheep, 14s 6d to 15s 3d. The attendance of buyers was small. WELLINGTON. October 20. Wholesale prices, beef, 255; Mult m, 9s to 11 ; lamb, 10s ; pork, 6d ; veal, 2d. One hundred and fifty guineas additional were presented to Sir Julius Vogel, who left for Australia to-day. A large crowd, including members of Parliament, leading citizens, and some of the Ministry, were on the wharf to wish him farewell.
