IT is hereby notified, that, after the Ist of January next, the use of impressed Stamps on Bills of Lading is compulsory. Such documents must, after that date, be written upon paper previously impressed at the Head edifice, and cannot be stamped after the execution thereof. It is requested, therefore, that Merchants, Shipping Agents, and others concerned., will, without delay, forward to this office such forms as they may require to be impressed, accompanied by the usual requisition and receipt of the Bank of New Zealand for the amount, ess the authorized discount.
