IT is hereby notified, that, after the Ist of January next, the use of Impressed Stamps on Bills of Lading is compulsory. Such documents; must, after that date, be written upon paper previously impressed at the Head- office, and cannot be -stamped' after • the' execution thereof. It is requested,' therefore,- that Merchants,- Shipping Agents, and others concerned, will,-without delay, forward to this office such forms as they may require to be impressed, accompanied by the usual requisition and receipt of the Bank of New Zealand for the amount, css the authorized discount*' Information may be obtained at airy Stamp Office,The provisions of the Act bearing on .this point' follow ' ,‘£a7.
