The Pave Clydesdale Horse TOM K X K G THE above Horse will travel between Hawcra and Manutahi, and will be at the latter place on Mondays ami Tuesdays, and at Hawcra the remainder of the week. PEDIGREE : TQM KING is out of Litstone (imported from Tasmania), was also the dam of the celebrated horse Britannia. Litstone was sold for 180 guineas at Tattersall’s. Tom King was got by King Fergus, sire of Sir Colin Campbell and many other celebrated horses. King Fergus was got by Lord Byron, the property of Mr Proudfoot, of Dumfrieshire, who gained the first prize of £4O at Annan, when 4 years old. Lord Byron was got by old Prince Royal, who gained the first prize at Aberdeen, and also at Johnson. King Fergus was bred by Mr Muir, of Kircudbrightshire, out of his prize mare Clydesdale, which was bred by Mr Frame. King Fergus gained seven prizes in 18(50, and had the first prize awarded to him as being the best animal of the horse kind at tin* great show at Hamilton. TO STAND THIS SEASON, The first-class Clydesdale Entire Horse, YOUNG LOFTY, Rising Three years; a Bright Bay. TTOUNG LOFTY is by the famous X sire LoF’rv, out of one of Mr Maxwell’s best England’s Home mares. The above Horse will travel between Ketemarac and Manutahi, and will beat the latter place every Thurslay; Ketemarae on Monday ; and Hawera on Friday; and the remaining days at Mr Gavin Hamilton’s Farm, near Hawera. Bay, with black points, 4 years old, hy the imported horse Pacific, out.of Discretion, by Towton. For symmetry and power, Resolution cannot be surpassed, and his performances on the turf as a three year old—beating Tambouring Folly, and many other good horses, at weight for age— proved him to be, for speed and endurance, a first-class racehorse. For further pedigree, see Stud Book. Terms- —£4 each marc, and os the groom. Marcs will be kept in a good paddock for one month free, after which 2s a, week each will be charged.
