IT is hereby notified, that, after the Ist j of January next, the use of im- ‘ pressed Stamps on Bills of Lading is ; compulsory. Such documents must, after that date, be written upon paper previously impressed at the Henj.l office, and cannot be stanippd after the execution thereof. It is requested, therefore, that Merchants, Shipping Agents, and others concerned, will, without delay, forward ' to this office such forms as they may ; respire to be impressed, accompanied by ; the usual requisition and receipt of the | Bank of New Zealand fqr the amount, : ess the authorized discount.
