IN exercise of the* authority given liy an Ordinance of the Superintendent and Provincial Council of Taranaki, intituled, “ The Municipal Police Ordinance, 1872,” I, Emeu mm; Anoszo Cauuinotox, Esquire, Superintendent of tlic Province of Taranaki, do hereby give notice and declare that the undermentioned Footpaths shall henceforth be deemed and taken to ho Public Footpaths within the meaning of an Ordinance : of the Lieutenant-Governor of New Zealand, and of the Legislative Council thereof, intituled, “An Ordinance to provide for the protection of Footpaths 'in the Colony of Now Zealand,” and shall bo protected accordingly. The Footpaths are 14 feet wide, and start on the south side of the main road, at (ho north-west corner of section No. II; then in a straight line, 15 chains long, to the north-east corner of section No. 14, and then in a southerly direction from the last-mentioned point in a straight line, 0 chains long, to the south side of the Bank of New South Wales* Towx of Caui.yi.jc. Bad Logs, Bad Breasts, Wounds, and Ulcerations of all kinds.—There is no medicinal preparation which may bo so thoroughly relied upon in the treatment of the above ailments as Holloway’s Ointment. Nothing can he more simple and safe than, the maimer in which it is applied, nothing more salutary than its action on the body, both loeall}' and constitutional!}'. The Ointment rubbed around the part affected enters tiic pmes as salt permeates meat. It quickly penetrates to the source of the evil, and drives it from the system. Bronchitis, Diphtheria, Colds, Coughs Sore Throats, and Shortness of Breath.— Relaxed and congested throats, elongated uvula, ulcerated or turgid tonsils, whooping cough, croup, asthma, wheezing from accumulated mucous, and other difficulties of respiration, also palpitation, stitches, and shortness of breath, may, with certainty, he cured by rubbing this healing Ointment over the chest and hack for at least half an hour twice a day, assisted by appropriate doses of Holloway’s Pills. For Glandular Swellings, Stiff Joints, ami Diseases of the Skin.—There is no preparation for salutary effects comparable to this remedy. It should he well rubbed over the affected parts, after their due fomentation with warm water. It acts by stimulating the absorbents to increased activity, by preventing congestion, and promoting a free and copious circulation in the parts affected, thence speedily and effectually it ensures a cure. Gout and Rheumatism. —This invaluable nngent has greater power over gout and rheumatism than any other preparation. None need remain in pain if its removal he set about in good earnest, by using this infallible remedy according to the printed instructions affixed to each pot. All settled aches and pains are remediable in the same manner. Piles, Fistulas, and Excorations.—The cure which this ointment effects in healing piles and fistulas of long standing, after they have resisted all other applications, have been so countless ami so notorious throughout the world that any effort to give an adequately detailed statement of their number or character would he vain. It is sufficient to know that the Ointment has never proved inefficacious. In Disorders of the Kidneys, Stone and Gravel, the Ointment is a sovereign remedy if it he well rubbed twice a day into the small of the hack, over the region of the kidneys, into which it will gradually penetrate, and in almost every case give immediate relief. Whenever this Ointment has been once used it has established its own worth, and has again been eagerlv sought for as the easiest and safest remedy in all disorders of the kidneys. Both the Ointment and Pills should he used in the following complaints : Isarl T.cgs Rad Breasts Bunions Chilblains Chapped Hands Corns (soft) Contracted and Stiff Joints Piles Fistulas Gout G 1 anxlular Swellings Rheumatism Lumbago Sore Nipples Scalds Skin Diseases Scurvy Ulcers Sore Heads Tumours Wounds The Pills and Ointment are sold at Professor Holloway’s Establishment, 533, Ox-ford-street, London ; also by nearly every respectable Vendor of Medicine throughout the Civilised World, in Boxes and Pots, at Is. 2s; 9d., 4s. 6d., 11s., 225., and 335. each. The 2s. 9d. size contains three, the 4s. 6d. size six, the 11s. size sixteen, the 22s size thirty-three, and-the 335. size fifty-two times the quantity of a Is. 1 Jd. Box or Pot. The smallest Box: of Pills contains four dozen ; and the smallest Pot of Ointment one ounce. Full printed: directions are affixed to each Box and Pot, and can bo had in any language, even in Turkish, Armenian, Aabic, .Persian, or Chinese. FOR SALE.
