FRED A. CARRINGTON, Superintendent. STAMP FEE ACT, 1875. Head Office, Stamp Department, 2Uth March, 1870. NOTICE is hereby given, that the provisions of the “Stamp Fee Act, 1875,” will be brought into operation in the ol'lices of the District Courts throughout the'colony, on the Ist April proximo. Alter that date, all duties, fees, fines, and penalties hitherto payable, to Clerks of District Courts in cash, must bo paid by moans of stamps, impressed or adhesive, as prescribed by the regulations made'in pursuance of the said Act, and no cash will thereafter be received for any such foes, &c. Stocks of Law Court Stamps may be obtained from the Deputy Commissioners of Stamps and from Depositaries in places where sittings of the District Courts are held. Forms of Summons, Subpoena, &c., will. be impressed at the Head Office for Solicitors and others, on receipt of Requisition D. and Bank receipt for the amount less the authorized discount, together with the forms requircu to bo stamped.
