Patka Mail Office, Tuesday Evening. Mr W.; Dale reports having held a sale of cattle at Patea on Saturday, the Ist inst. 78 head were yarded and sold. Two year-old bullocks realised ,£(3 ; mixed stores, £4 7s Gd ; calves, .-£2 Gs ; cows, £5 5s to 439 ; and afterwards at his auction mart a quantity of merchandise and sundries were sold at satisfactory prices.
