Those mixed libel cases (says the Ev n n ' Po.it Wellington) as between Mr J. M. Perrier, the editor of the N.Z. 'Times, and Mr G. M. Heed, editor , and part proprietor of the Otago Guardian, have assumed a new phase. Lately Mr Reed, while en route for Dunedin, was served with a writ in a civil action at the instance of Mr Perrier.
