RE GIST RA T lON 0E A BBREVIATED A DDRESSES.—WiIIi the view of saving’'ns much as possible the cost of the transmission of Telegrams to New Zealand from other countries, a Register will be kept at every Telegraph station in New Zealand for the Registration of Arbitrary or Cypher Addresses in the shape of one or more words. No fee will be charged for registration. Persons registering will require to communicate the Cypher or Arbitrary Address to their Correspondents. The Telegraph Companies register names and addresses of telegraph correspondents free of charge at all their Stations, and in London at 7-1. Old Broad-street; 8, Loadenhall-stree;; and -12, Finsbury Circus. Addresses may also bo registered at any Government Telegraph Office in England or Scotland upon payment of One Guinea to the Postmaster-General, London.— By order of the Honorable the Telegraph Commissioner. NOTICE is hereby given, that the , provisions of the “ Stamp Fee Act, 1875,” will be brought into operation in the offices of the District Courts throughout the colony, on the Ist April proximo. After that date, all duties, ! fees, fines, and penalties hitherto payable to Clerks of District Courts in cash, must be paid by means of stomps, impressed or adhesive, as prescribed by the regulations made in pursuance of the said Act, and no cash will thereafter be received for any such fees, &e. Stocks of Law Court Stamps may be obtained from the Deputy Commissioners of Stamps and from Depositaries in places where sittings of the District Courts are held. Forms of Summons, Subpoena, &c,, will-be impressed at the Head Office ; for Solicitors and others, on receipt of Requisition D. and Bank receipt for the amount less the authorized discount, together with the forms requiren to be stamped.
