The p.s. Tongariro arrived in port yesterday, after a rather rough passage. Che sailed from Wanganui on Thursday evening, and had a fresh breeze on her way up. Owing to the thick Weather she passed the. port and had to return some distance. This made her late on the tide, and she crossed the bar at nearly half ebb, but without any difficulty.
