AUCKLAND CATTLE, MARKET. Hunter and Nolan’s Report. Auckland May 27. Horses. —On F rid ay there was an average number entered and lair demand. Ihcre still exists a demand for light-harness and him’C’v horses. We sold hacks, £7 15s to £ls ; light-harness, from £lO to £2O 10s. Cattle. —At the Newmarket yards on Tuesday tho muster of dairy and stores was not so large as usual, in consequence of the had weather. Fat cattle wore adequate for requirements, and prices ruled rather in favor of the buyer. Wc emote :— Dairy cows. £8 to £l3 10s ; yearlings, £2 10s to £3 5s ; weaned calves from £L 8s to £1 15s ; 3-year old steers £5 ok to £0 ; beef, from 27s 6d to 32s Gd per 1001b. Sheep.— There was a largo supply, mostly of good quality, and the demand was good throughout the sale, and sold at satisfactory prices. Best tat wethers, 18s Lo 22s 3d ; 2nd quality, 15s to 17s ; tat owes. 12s 9d to IGs ; store wethers, 9s ; fat lambs, 8s to 11s 6d. pjp,jj._A good number yarded, and met with spirited competition.
