TWENTY-SIXTH ROAD BOARD.
A meeting of tho above Board was held on Monday last. Present —Messrs Durrett (chairman), Ivcss. Gibson, C. Symes, Gower, Sonthby, and Coutts. The minutes of (lie previous meeting were read and confirmed. Resolved, that the secretary write to aP-ssrs Uiddeil, Vfaiker, and others, advising them (o apply to the \V airoa Highway Board to have tho roads required by them formed as far as the Wellington and Taranaki line, and that the Patea ‘ZGtSi Road Board will continue, the same Irom thence. It was resolved that lenders be called for b'd chains (more or less) of formation on Wilson Bead, according to plans and spec-ideations of the engineer, ami that so.nl lenders be received on Ist Monday in June, at '1 p.m. Resolved, that Mr "Williams be requested tu report upon tho best way of expending I lie sum of J l'J.u to enable Mr Pronse to get mi lo bis land. The Secretary read a statement of the financial accounts, showing a balance in hand of T47 Ss, which wilii the sum of “lb IPs lid (balance of grant in aid), and (be sum of GBI IPs Pd, balance of rales, leaves a sum of TPP Gs Sd.
