A U S T R ALIAN. (From the Wanganui Chronicle.) April 26. The Customs authorities are carrying- out their threat of opening and examining the Stevcnsons’ goods Smythe Adam, judge, has been found guilty of excessive severity and unwarrantable language, of imperious conduct and irritahlenesa, and want of self-control. Commission considers his co-operation with officers impracticable. The Bank of Victoria, Seymour, has been robbed of over £SOO, and the clerk was bound and gagged.
