THE Mountain road being now openedfor Stock and other traffic, persons will find it to their advantage to take this route in preference to the coach road, as it saves a distance in travelling of about 40 miles. The road is formed for half the distance, bridges are constructed oyer the principal streams, and excellent approaches are made to the different creeks, so that travelling is now comparatively easy. The distance by the coach road from Patea to New Plymouth is 100 miles ; by way of Inglewood, 60 miles. Travellers will find excellent accommodation for both man and beast at LAN GL E Y’S INGLEWOOD HOTEL.
