Tut': above Board held their usual monthly meeting on Saturday last, all the members being present. Balance in hand, To-PI 2s sd. Letter from Paymaster - General, enclosing second instalment of grant to I’oad Boards, L‘Bo “2s 2d. — Letter from Provincial Treasurer, enclosing Till (Is hd on account of grant in aid of Highway Boards. Mr Shehan objected to bis rating. Acreage reduced to IGU acres ; value, TG2o. Mr Kiddle applied to have a track opened up to his land. Air Lon was deputed to inspect the road and arrange for necessary work, (he Board paying half the cost, provided settlers pay remainder, 'i’.jj-aiKiki Hoanl too i\>v aAsi.stanee. An application from A. Kiches for permission to erect a gate across the road between sections ‘.Hi and (18. was deferred till next meeting. The following accounts were passed and paid :—\\ ineheomhe, To I4s Gd ; Bowie, To ; A. (J. Milne. TG. A cheipte. for TGI 8s for A. -Milne was left in the hands of Mr Lnpton. The Waitotara road was passed. Leve was granted u> Wardens lon and M'l.ean to repair roads at Uhl's sheep pen. The Board then adjourned.
