The passengers bv the White Eagle, which arrive I from Lon lon some months ago, state that during the passage out, after a heavy gale in the night, they found the vessel right under the cliffs of Croz ;t Islands, an 1 they had providentially been driven into the only sale channel between the Islands. Some of the passeng-rs declared that, they saw signals of distress on the Island, but the officers were too busy to heed what they said. They say they are now satisfied these signals must have been from the Strathmore survivors. Tho circumstance was not. reported on the arrival of the vessel in port.
