THIS wool-press will be found to recommend itself by its great simplicity, by its efficiency in working, whether as regards power or rapidity, and by its small cost as compared with the ordinary Screw Presses. "With the exception of the ironwork the press can be made on the Station by any one having a small knowledge of carpentering. The iron rollers and pawls can be bad from Messrs Robertson & Co., Phcenix Foundry, Wellington, who are in possession of the patterns for castings. Foa the set they charge Four Pounds Ten Shillings (£4 10s.), or they will supply iron fittings for wood rollers for £2 15s. The rollers mado entirely of iron are to be preferred. For License to make and use one of those wool-presses the charge is Five Pounds sterling.
