JOHN WINKS. October M-, 187b. PATE A JOCKEY CLUB HANDICAP SWEEP. On the above race will be drawn at the ALBION HOTEL, CARLYLE, £lO will bo equally divided between starters and non-starters. In the event of the full number of tickets not being disposed of, prizes will be paid pro rata on those sold. The drawing will be on the art-union principle, and conducted under the supervision of three gentlemen chosen by the subscribers at the time of distribution. Prizes paid, less b per cent lor expenses, on the evening of the race. In order to prevent mistakes, no ticket will be issued excepting for cash. The drawing will take place at the Albion Hotel on Monday evening, October 8, at 8 o’clock, the day before the race. Tickets can he obtained of the undersigned. THOMAS HAYWOOD, Treasurer. NOTICE.
