Ith.— Ladies Purse, 40 sovs. Distance, miles; welterweights; gentlemen riders. Entrance, 3 rows, SECOND DAY, Ist.— Hurdle Race, 40 sovs. Entrances, 3 sovs ; distance, 2 miles, over 8 (lights of ordinary sheep hurdles, 3tt ‘Jin in height; welter weights. 2nd. —Hack Hurdle Race of 10 sovs. Entrance-, 1 sov. plistanee, oneo round the course, over 5 flights of ordinary slice]) hurdles, 3ft Jin in height; w'eight for age ; open to all horses that have not run for a stake of 10 sovs, or over. 3rd.— Jockey Clur llaxdicaf, 75 sovs, added to a sw r eep of 4 sovs, and 2 sovs nomination ; distance, 2 ; [- miles. Entries closed with 14 nominations. Weights to be declared OH (Saturday, the Kith of October. Acceptances to be sent in before Gp.m. on Thursday, the 28th of October, Ith,—Forced llaxdk'au for winning Hoßses, 25 sovs; distance, 1 mile and a distance; entrances for winner, 2 sovs; losing horses allowed to enter at halfprice. In the event of a walk over, only one half of the stakes will be. paid. Date of general entries Ist of November, at 7 o’clock p.m, AH protests must be made in writing, within a quarter of an hour of (he completion of the race, accompanied by 1 sov, to be forfeited if the protest is deemed frivolous. In all cases of dispute, the decision of the Stewards to bo final. Iprllorses having previously run for advertised money arc not eligible for hack racing.
