The following arc the articles of which the Local Committee desire to collect specimens, viz.: 1, grain ; 2, wool ; 3, coal ; 4, limber; 5, flax and rope; G, tanning barks, leather dyes and paints; 7, preserved meat; 8, beer ; 9, minerals and ores; JO, works of art illustrative of New Zealand scenery; 11, miscellaneous articles illustrating the history of the colony or its inhabitants. Exhibits must be forwarded to Messrs Levin and Co., Wellington, not later than the 15th November. An exception, however, will be made in the case of wool, which will bo received up to the 10th December, provided that a description is sent before the 15 th November. The Chairman wlli afford intending exhibitors full and detailed information on application.
