Ist.— Hurdle Race, 40 sovs. Entrances, 3 sovs; distance, 2 miles, over 8 flights of ordinary sheep hurdles, 3ft Din in height ; welter weights, 2nd.— Hack Hurdle Race. —sovs. Entrance, —sovs ; distance, once round the course, over 5 flights of ordinary sheep hurdles, 3ft Din in height; weight for age ; open to all horses that have not run for a stake of 10 sovs. or over, grd.— Jockey Club Handicap, 75 sovs, added to a sweep of 4 sovs, and 2 sovs nomination ; distance, 2£ miles, , Nominations to be sent to the Secretary on or before Saturday, the 9th of October. Weights to be declared on Saturday, the 16th of October. Acceptances to be sent in before G p.m, on Thursday, the 28th of October. 4th.—Forced Handicap for winning Houses, —sovs; distance, 1 mile and a distance; entrances for winner,—sovs; losing horses allowed to enter at halfprice. In the event of a walk over, only one half of the stakes will ho paid. Date of general entries Ist of November, at 7 o’clock p.m. All protests must bo made in writing, within a quarter of an hour of the completion of the race, accompanied by 1 sov, to be forfeited if the protest is deemed frivolous. In all cases of dispute, the decision of the Stewards to be final. eggrHorses having previously run for advertised money are not eligible for hack racing.
