Patea Mail Office, Tuesday Evening. ■ Win. Dale reports having sold the hull and gear ol‘ the ketch Alert, wrecked at the entrance of the Patea river, on Saturday, the 18th inst.. the total sum realised being £73 7s. He aiso reports sale of store cattle on the 20th inst., at Manutahi. 41 head yarded and sold—cows averaged £4 17s. (id. ; llireo-year-old steers, £G J2s. Gd.; two-year-old steers. £5 13s. ; two-year-old heifers, £4 175.; yearlings, £3 15s. ; cow and calf. £8 ss.
