Nominations to be sent to the Secretary on or before Saturday, the 9th of October. Weights to be declared on Saturday, the 16th of October. Acceptances to, bo sent in before 6 p.m. on Thursday, the 28th of October. 4th.—Forced Handicap for winning Horses, —sovs; distance, 1 mile and a distance; entrances for winner, —sovs; losing horses allowed to enter at halfprice. In the event of a walk over, only one half of the stakes will be paid. Date of general entries Ist of November, at 7 o’clock p.m. All protests must be made in writing, within a quarter of an hour of the completion of the race, accompanied by 1 sov, to be forfeited if the protest is deemed frivolous. . In all cases of dispute, the decision of the Stewards to be final. igf/Tlorses having previously ran for advertised money are not eligible for hack racing.
