THIS wool-press will be found to recommend itself by its great simplicity, by its efficiency in working, whether as regards power or rapidity, and by its small cost as compared with the ordinary Screw Presses. With the exception of the ironwork the press can bo made on the Station by any one having a small knowledge of carpentering. The iron rollers and pawls can be bad from Messrs Robertson & Co., Phcenix Foundry, Wellington, who are in possession of the patterns for castings. Foa the set they charge Four Pounds Ton Shillings (£4.105.), or they will supply iron fittings for wood rollers for £2 16s. The rollers made entirely of iron arc to be preferred. For License to make and use one of those wool-presses the charge is Five Pounds sterling.
