Entrance J sovs. 2nd.— Patea District Cur of 50 sovs. Entrances, 4 sovs ; Distance, 2 miles ; weight for age; open to all comers. 3rd.— Scurry, —sovs. Post entries, —sovs; weight for age ; winner to be sold for 25 sovs, surplus to go to the Jockey Ciub fund. 4th.— Ladies Purse, —sovs. Distance, l-;l miles ; welterweights; gentlemen riders. Nominations to be sent to the Scoretary on or before Saturday, the 9tk of October. Weights to be declared on Saturday, the Kith of October. Acceptances to be sent in before G pan. on Thursday, the 28tb of October. 4th.— Forced Handicap for winning Horses, —sovs; distance, 1 mile and a distance; entrances for winner, —sovs; losing horses allowed to enter at halfprice. In the event of a walk over, only one half of the stakes will be paid.
