TO THE EDITOR OF THE I’ATEA MAID. Rm,—l notice in your last issue that my name appears as a probable candidate for election for the Town Board of Carlyle. I beg to state that lam not a candidate, as I have neither time nor inclination for the honour. I am, &c., JAMES HIRST. Patea, August 20. 1875.
