Adelaide Treasurer’s budget shows a deffciency in revenue to be made up by stamp and succession duties, also by a tax on banking companies to form of yearly composition of £2 for every £IOO worth of the average annual amount of unstamped notes issued, and pay Cd a pound on dividends payable by public companies ; propose to borrow millions, and have spent £600,000.
