BY ELECTRIC TELEGRAPH. WELLINGTON. July 27. In the House of Representatives there was very little business on tho order paper this afternoon. A large number of notices of motion have been given. Sir George Grey has given notice to move for all reports upon information obtainable awarding the illegal issue of minor’s rights at Ohineninri, and for a committee to inquire into the acquisition and transfer to Provincial admiustration of the Tairua block. Sheehan gave notice that be won Id ask whether the Government had consulted the Law Officers as to the legality of the appointment of Sir Julius Vogel as Post-master-General ; also as to the exact date upon which tho present Parliament expires. Sir Donald McLean gave notice that ho would ask leave of absence for Sir Julius Vogel for the remainder of the session. A number of papers have been laid upon the table. Robertson _ gave notice that ho would move for an inquiry into the mode in which the business between the Government and the Bank of New Zealand was being conducted, and to ascertain whether it would not bo advisable to adopt some other plan.
