Ball reports having leased by auction at Hawera on the tub inst., section Mil, Hawera containing 50 acres, fenced, but not in grass, for the term of one year, at the rate of twelve shillings per acre, this being the highest price yet realised for rent of rural land in the rlist tic!. Mb AC. Cowmtx reports having sold at. Hawera, on the lOih inst., .J-aere section in the towudiip of Hawera. with -Broomed house, in the occupation of the Bank of New South Wales, for the sum of £152 I Os, to Mill corge Tail, of Hawera.
