AUCKLAND MARKET REPORT. Me Alfred Buckland’s Weekly Report. —At the liaymarket on 14th May, fodder was in fall supply, but better worth. Horse stock in larger supply than usual, principally medium draught; for those in good condition there was a steady demand, and the greater number sold. I.H-condiiioned horse stock at nominal prices. Hides and skins in increased numbers raei with a good demand ; hides at late values ; skins somelhing higher in price. At Rcinura, on Thursday, dairy cows were indifferently represented. Store cattle in larger numbers than of late. Young cattle at lower relative values, but three-year olds ami g: own stuck in demand at full prices. Fat cattle in average supply ; 170 head penned : last week's advances sustained throughout the sale. Fat sheep of good quality were penned in less than usnal numbers ; choice qualiry sold frccjy at last week’s rare-, but medium quality were relatively dull of sale. Tigs were in moderate numbers, and at low values ; prices obtained were good. Kay; loose trasses. 5s ml to 7s (id : medium, 8s (id per cwt; (Jape barley. 8s Del per bushel.
