PORT OF PATEA. ARRIVALS. April 20. —Tongariro, p.s., 39 tons, Gibbons, from Wanganui. DEPARTURES. April 17.—Tongariro, p.s., for Wanganui. VESSEL IN PORT. Tougariro. p.s. EXPECTED ARRIVALS. Ino, s.s., from Nelson, shortly. Huon Belle, schooner, from Wellington. William and Mary, schooner, from Canterbury. The William and Mary, arrived off the bar yesterday morning from Canterbury. If wind favourable, she may be expected to arrive alongside the wharf this morning. The Huon Belle, arrived off the bar yesterday morning from Wellington. We trust to see her in company with the William and Mary, busily discharging at the wharf to-day. The p.s. Tongariro arrived from Wanganui yesterday morning. Captain Gibbons reports having left that port at 10 p.m.. on Monday. Experienced strung south-easterly winds, with heavy swell during the passage under easy steam. She crossed the bar at 10 o'clock yesterday morning, and grounded on the north spit. The cargo was immediately discharged, and the steamer was expected to be afloat again last night. In which case, she will leave again this morning for Wanganui.
