WE the under signed do lierely send this notice to Te Paki o Matariki, to take to all parts of Aotearoa, then across to "VVaipounamu, and other graet Lands of the whole world: — The final decision of the gathering of Matariki Manukura, and Whakamarumaru, who are resideing at these places (Taupo, Te Kawakawa, Whakatiri Wairoa South, and along the coast of Hauraki to Auckland. That we the Nations Tribes, and Chiefs do herely consent to do away with all Intoxicating Liquors, in the above districts, if any man or persons Tramples upon this our Law ( Decision. ) He or they shall be fined, nothing less or more than £5 pounds, Signed by some of the Chiefs.
