CHRISTCHURCH, June 26. Offerings of potatoes from farmers have been heavier this week, but a lack of orders from the north has operated against any response by merchants. Growers are prepared to accept 30s. on trucks. Deliveries in later months are quoted at 50s. f.o.b. The Waimarino is taking between 8000 and 9000 sacks from Lyttelton and 1100 from Timaru. The wheat market is unaltered. Milling is worth 5s sd, on trucks; fowl wheat. 5s lid to 5s 2d. f.o.b. Lower grade fowl feed from South Otago is offering at 4s lOd to 4s lid. f.o.b.
